  5. RSM is a source code metrics and quality analysis program
  6. for the languages of C, C++ and Java
  7.  
  8. This is a shareware program.  Please distribute freely.
  9. RSM is a command line program that operates as a Visual
  10. Studio Tool or from the command prompt.

  12. If this is a purchased distribution, Your license type will
  13. be show when you run the program.  Please safe guard and
  14. backup the file rsm.lic.

  32. Execute the setup.exe program.
  33.  
  34. The RSM.EXE executable and its license and configuration
  35. files must be located on you system path. Under Windows 98, the
  36. system path is specified in the autoexec.bat file. Edit the
  37. c:\autoexec.bat file and add the newly created RSM directory
  38. to your path. In this way, you can access RSM from any
  39. source code directory.

  41. Under Windows Nt/2000/XP use the [Start]-[Settings]-[Control Panel]-
  42. [System]-[Advanced]-[Environment variables] to set the PATH.
  43.  
  44. The RSM directory should be the first directory in the system path.

  46. You may use the support tool called which.exe to located RSM on
  47. your system path.
